Role of Committees

The governing body is split into a number of committees, each having a more specific role in the strategic leadership of the school. The committees are:

  • Standards and provision;
  • Resource management;
  • Pay;
  • Admissions;
  • Other committees that may be required from time to time

Committee Membership

Committee members are selected during the first full governing body meeting of each academic year. Committees are responsible for electing their own Chairs.

Committee terms of reference

Terms of reference clearly stipulate the responsibilities and limitations of each governor committee. These are agreed by the full governing body during their first meeting of the academic year.
