Harvest Fayre – October 2018

Committee members decided which school grown crops would go on sale at our Harvest Fayre.

It was lovely to see the wonderful work of Forest Schools and gardening shared with our wider community.



Committee News – September 2018

The Eco Committee have started the new school year with a fantastic and informative assembly presented to whole school. We also introduced new members from year 1 and 2!

The Committee have been busy meeting and planning the year ahead with lots of fantastic campaigns and initiatives  for the whole school to take part in.

The committee members will continue to keep all classes informed on all Eco matters and to take pupils ideas back to committee. We are looking forward to another exciting year!

Eco Committee Assembly – October 2017

The Eco committee presented an assembly to the whole school focussing on Pope Francis’ letter Laudato Si’. They discussed the themes of the letter and their current projects and work within school and the wider and global community, they shared how all the school can support their work.

Switch off fortnight

Thank you to everyone who helped us with ‘Switch if off fortnight’ 17th November – 1st December. We managed to save 33kwh of electricity despite the weather turning very cold and the Christmas Bazaar being held within the fortnight.

Eco News

The Eco Committee came to Nursery and talked about all the work they do. They talked about how Nursery can help with lots of Eco topics in school. The Eco committee then took Nursery on a walk around the grounds to show them all the projects they are involved in.
